Automated Excavator Alias for Damage Analysis (2022.6 release)

UtiliSphere has a feature called Damage Analysis. When enabled, this feature compares the # of tickets received vs. the # of damages caused by excavators to show the excavators’ damage ratio. There is a feature in Damage Analysis that provides users with the ability to merge excavators into an alias if the One Call Centers sends them over as different names, but it is really one excavator. The process of merging excavators used to be done manually.

Irth has automated the ability for UtiliSphere to detect the same excavator sent over with different names from the One Call Center. The system now allows Excavator Alias Recommendations automatically:

  1. For each US state, the system compares the excavator contact name, phone, email on the ticket to the contact name, phone, and email of existing excavators
  2. If one of the three matches an existing excavator, the system recommends adding a new alias to the existing excavator

Note: This feature requires the Damage Analysis feature to be configured, including creation of a Damage Form.
