Users location viewable on map

When using the mobile website or fully online website, it would be great to see where other UtiliSphere users are based on their current, or near current, location on the map.  This would make it easy to dispatch specific users to specific locations based on their proximity to the ticket.  Would also reduce in possible overlap in the field.

Not exactly what I am looking for, but helpful.  I am guessing what I am asking for would need to pull in some type of either vehicle tracking information or some sort of user login location data in near real time.

There are several actions the user does in UtiliSphere in which the user's location is captured. For example, when the user takes a photo, UtiliSphere captures the lat/lon of where it is uploaded. This data is then displayed in 2 places:

1. It is displayed on the ticket. To see it, open a ticket in full web and click on the map layers icon and make sure to check the "Activities" layer.

When you do this, you can see the location of the user when they added the photo and who it was that added the photo:

2. You can see a map for multiple users when they took actions that have the location recorded. Follow the below steps to access this map:

1. Click on Analytics

2. Click on "User Activity Viewer"

3. Click on the Map Layer Icon and check the layers for Tickets and Activities

4. Then click on a ticket on the map and you will see actions that have a lat/lon

5. Click on the actions and you will see the user that took the action

Does this help with your needs?
