New Standard App for Aerial Patrol

Irth has published a new standard app to UtiliSphere. UtiliSphere’s standard apps provide out-of-the-box functionality to complex processes to make it faster and easier to implement the latest technologies and industry standards.

UtiliSphere’s new standard app for Aerial Patrols provides transmission pipeline companies with the ability to increase compliance and reduce the likelihood of damages.

The new standard app in UtiliSphere works as follows:

• The asset segment is scheduled using the Patrol Dashboard
• Pilots fly their patrol
  • Breadcrumbing automates the flight’s location
• Pilot records their observations in the Conflict form
• UtiliSphere does the following:
  • Creates a Patrol Plan form using an aerial business rule
  • Creates a ticket using an aerial business rule
  • Generates a new Patrol Dashboard form

The standard app for Aerial Patrol includes:

• Forms
  • Patrol Dashboard
  • Patrol Plan
  • Conflict
• Automation
  • Using the patrol plan's location, the patrol dashboards that intersect with it will be linked
  • Using the patrol plan's location, the percentage of coverage on the patrol dashboard’s location will be updated
  • Automatically populating the Area, System Segment data using geo fencing
