Add a "Work complete" pick in the response section.
In the "response" section, ad a "Work complete" pick so when you close out an ongoing ticket the contractor doesn't get notified again.

Hey Jim, it's Matt with P66 One Call. This is actually something Irth does provide, but we don't do it as a company because nearly every state requires a positive response sent to excavator every time they send a ticket, not just the first time. Montana law may actually not require it in every instance, oddly enough. We need to read their law more carefully.
Alternatively we can add a response of "Work near Phillips 66 is now complete" or something to that effect which would then go out to the excavator. Call or email Chris Young and we'll work with you to get another response option together.
